The 4th CSDP OLYMPIAD was attended by 49 Military Academy Cadets/Students from 14 EU Member states, who during the first cycle of the competition submitted papers on selected topics related to Common Security and Defence Policy. During the final phase, hosted in Veliko Tarnovo (Bulgaria) at the Vasil Levski National Military University 34 Cadets/Students qualified from 13 countries (Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Estonia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Spain).
The CSDP Olympiad lasted from 21st - 25th May 2018.
The awarded students, per category, were as follows:
a) The Single Competition Winner and 4th Olympiad Winner: Kacper KASPRZAK – Poland – Military Technical University
b) Best Paper Winner (presentation included): Matthias KERN – Austria – Theresan Military Academy
c) Best Cover Winner: Nikola SAVIC – Austria – Theresan Military Academy
